wow what fun today! people were here all day, new friends and old.. everyone tried on jewelry some bought for gifts ,other for themselves... a few women showed me what to show their hubby! gotta run and make some matching earrings! ciao bebe

dog days of summer

The heat has arrived after a nice break with beautiful low 80's in the trivalley.
Wow the turquoise necklaces sold very well i have 2 left! and got 3 orders for bracelets.i only brought 7 bracelets they went 1st.... got to get pics before i sell them so fast. i love the way turquoise looks on tanned skin,shimmers. one auntie bought for back -to- school 5 nieces ..wow ... i never got a present to go back to school. she liked the coral but it was too small so i will send her a red coral turquoise silver bracelet next week. the
we are real excited about alaska trip i will bring the pearls and briolette necklaces. sold 2 in silver with green brios, and small charms,nice and subtle, i knew they would sell. will they sell in ketchikan?

deeridge demo and show livermore,ca

what a great winery! it was barrel tasting weekend..what a crowd!
we were in the huge reception room there was 6 of us.doing demos .some ladies were painting masks in the italian tradition. i was making earrings with gemstones, another lady was making beads from glass rods. a lady was painting huge wine bottles. and a oil painter painting a table setting.
with the doors lead out to the patio we heardthe duo of rocker chicks singing all afternoon. perfect weather too! rock on! pics coming

kathy s came over and showed me her beautiful beadwork jewelry.i loved her color combo with beads..really creative work .
we do diferent work but all unique and hanscrafted. she will be in a show dec 13th while my albany show is this weekend. im ready,i made a few earrings to match the necklaces.pearls and crystals is the theme for a dressy time.
im starting to get the holiday fever.took a class with bobby and made the 6wire hanger tree with a tinsel garland and a string of 50 lights..so cute..came home and timed it and made another in 1 hr for mom. now if i only have time to decorate the house....ciao bebe
